Biarritz, France: The arrival @ The Roxy Pro 2012

MlleLeK Biarritz Côte des Basques 1

For all fans of surfing

that have not been able to get to the 7th Edition of the 2012 Roxy Pro Biarritz and penultimate stop of the ASP Women’s World Surfing Championship 2012. Here in Biarritz – out of competition – everyone is surfing, quite amazing! I reach the Côte des Basques (picture 1) where the trials began. Problem: the lack of waves and the first days sessions postponed.

Tonight I really enjoy the panoramic view

from Les 100 Marches, where Roxy hosted a cocktail. A bit tight in the VIP / Press square (lol!), we sit facing the sea in a cool and cosmopolitan atmosphere, with a good DJ. Back to the Grande Plage (pictures 2 and 3, where the final will be held) by the path along the sea: the scenery is outstanding! We stopped at Le Taïtu for a pizza session. Choose the terrace to avoid the super tacky decor inside! To be continued…

South Tyrol, Italy: Lunch @ The Golf & Spa Resort Andreus

After my first golf lesson

(congrats Ms Le K, lol!) and before going to “fix” my back and shoulders (oops!): a light lunch in the lounge bar of the Andreus Golf & Spa Resort, with a fantastic view on the mountain.

The scenery is magnificent (last picture). What a surprise discovering my beautiful dishes (pictures 1 & 2: the starter and the main course)! And also delicious!

During my stay in Süd Tyrol, I noticed in all the restaurants I went : few eatables flowers were often added to perfect the food presentation. I really like it, it brightens and feminizes the presentation. See you at the spa

Many thanks for this beautiful invitation to Suedtirol and Lufthansa. As always these opinions are my own.

Berlin, Germany: Alexanderplatz, A Little Shop & Communist Remains

Why going to Alexanderplatz?

For its architectural remains of the communist era. See how the architecture of the late sixties (even restaured) remains an absolute ugliness! It’s so ugly that it could lead to a kind of aesthetic which reminds me of the excellent German film Good bye Lenin by Wolfgang Becker with Daniel Brühl!

Picture below: The Urania-Weltzeituhr, the universal clock dating from 1969. You can also go there for very practical reasons: the Park Inn (hotel opened in 1970!), The Kaufhof Galeria department store (for his food center), near the quaint streets of the trendy Mitte.

And the little souvenir gift shop, Aus Berlin: Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse 17, open from 10am to 10pm (pictured above).
