Antwerp: My Shopping of The Spring-Summer Trends (Stop 1)

Marathon day between each press offices of Antwerp to discover their new beauty products, accessories and collections for spring-summer 2013. I also found few “other” funny things. After getting lost 30 minutes in the opposite direction, I passed the Opera house (amazing poster) to finally arrive at PR Style. I had a crush on the Sushi Kit of Saitaku (yes it’s food!) for two people which includes in addition to the ingredients, the set to make sushi: Itadaki masu! I didn’t taste them yet, but I love the concept!

South Tyrol, Italy: Lunch @ The Golf & Spa Resort Andreus

After my first golf lesson

(congrats Ms Le K, lol!) and before going to “fix” my back and shoulders (oops!): a light lunch in the lounge bar of the Andreus Golf & Spa Resort, with a fantastic view on the mountain.

The scenery is magnificent (last picture). What a surprise discovering my beautiful dishes (pictures 1 & 2: the starter and the main course)! And also delicious!

During my stay in Süd Tyrol, I noticed in all the restaurants I went : few eatables flowers were often added to perfect the food presentation. I really like it, it brightens and feminizes the presentation. See you at the spa

Many thanks for this beautiful invitation to Suedtirol and Lufthansa. As always these opinions are my own.

Dover, UK: The White Cliffs and St Margaret’s Bay

After arriving by Ferry in Dover,  I shortly drive to St Margaret’s Bay, a peaceful small bay nestled in the White Cliffs, only accessible by car. Menacing skies  like in a painting. Few people have a picnic on the rocks, others go for a walk near the cliffs. A deep feeling of calm, time seems to be stopped.

Photo above : At the left end of the bay, four houses are built on the rocks beach. One of them belonged to Ian Fleming (yes James Bond’s daddy!).

Photos above and below : late lunch @ Coastguard. Great bay view on the deck and good food. By the way, don’t forget to bring your sunblock! T: 01304 851019, www.thecoastguard.co.uk

After this relaxing break, I jump in the car to the Walmer Castle, where the Duke of Wellington (yes the famous Wellington boots!) lived. I look foward to discovering its amazing  gardens. See you there in my coming-up post…
