A buccolic retreat in the amazing Tivoli Palacio De Seteai overhanging Sintra. Synonymous with an extreme refinement, you’ll precioulsly keep the adress of this 18th century gem. Volumes, architecture, interiors and the green settle bring you a deep feeling of calm. Cosy room with two big windows opened to a big French garden. The highly urban girl (me, me, me!) might forget her laptop! A Nespresso coffee maker for the addictive and the old-style bathroom. I walk in the large corridors like the caracters of the culte Resnais movie, “Last Year at Marienbad“, with a timeless feeling! love this place.

Retraite buccolique dans le superbe Tivoli Palacio De Seteais qui surplombe Sintra. Synonyme d’extrême raffinement, l’adresse de ce petit bijou du XVIII siècle, se garde précieusement. Volumes, architecture, décoration et omniprésence d’une nature très verdoyante, incitent au calme et au repos. Chambre douillette avec deux grandes fenêtres donnant sur un vaste jardin. L’ultra urbaine en mode off absolu, en oublierait presque son ordinateur portable! Mea culpa. Une cafetière Nespresso, pour les plus accros. Salle de bain à l’ancienne. Déambuler dans les longs couloirs, coupée du temps, comme les personnages du cultissime film de Resnais, “L’Année dernière à Marienbad“!

A super charming design hotel

with an efficient staff! When I arrived in the smart entrance hall, I’ve instantaneously found the place welcoming, familiar and even intimate (picture above).

Very Japanese too : you really feel being in Kyoto and nowhere else. Same feeling in the comfortable rooms.

Breakfast at The Grill restaurant

in front of a Japanese garden, I’ve really enjoyed meeting again contemporary art and fashion people met in Tokyo few days before (picture above). People easily talk to each other, in a cool atmosphere.

Don’t miss the Japanese acuponcture

at Riraku spa (pictures 4 & 5) : amazingly relaxing! A must do! Then late at night, after a very busy day, going back to the hotel is an absolut delight. Sounds like being at home.
