Selfridges, London

I like those old department stores with almost one century of history. On 15th March,1909, Gordon Selfridges, an American businessman, opened an eponymous store in London “which was to put Oxford Street on the world retail map”. Visionary. In 1966: the opening of Miss Selfridges. Today merchandisers create very beautiful windows. And when trade meets art: look at those amazing windows! A world between poetry and mechanics of movement.

A different atmosphere at the fashion designers level: something really Parisian, maybe due to the background designs.

One of my beauty discoveries, I’ve heard it’s the ”must have” of foundation (wow the thrill! I will let you know in a coming up post! Suspense suspense).
