Caudalie: The Vinexpert Regimen For Skin Lacking Vitality

It began more and less one month ago

at the Caudalie Vinexpert line‘s ten years celebration. Do I really need to repeat today’s anti-aging is for any women: from mature women fighting against wrinkles to the youngest loosing firmness after a drastic diet ? Every women, you and me, mom… Seduced by the packaging, few days later I decided to test the famous Resveratrol patented and stabilized by Caudalie (named “the best anti-ageing molecule” by Harvard’s Department of Medicine”, “Thanks to Resveratrol, the wine is able to renew itself several centuries“,  Caudalie).

The first days, I didn’t pay attention to the draws inside box. Too bad, those draws explain how using the serums (1 & 2) and the creams (3 & 4). Industrious, I stick the draws on a thick sheet I bring with me to the bathroom to memorise the right gesture of each product!

Following this order, every moorning and night, I apply the Vinexpert Firming serum (1) that contains the most Resveratrol concentration. Then the Vinexpert Anti-aging serum eyes and lips perfectly moisturizes my higly sensitive eyelid contour. The  two serums have a pleasant light texture, absolutely not sticky.

As a day cream, I use Vinexpert Radiance day fluid SPF10 (3). The fluid texture penetrates really quickly and matifies my complexion, protecting the skin with a SPF10. After few weeks, it makes my pores of skin smaller and brighten my complexion all day long. Recently I’ve really noticed it!

And  the best for last :  the Vinexpert Night infusion cream (4) is my bless cream I love to apply each night. Its amazing thick texture nourrishes and regenates my skin. My “hug” cream that smoothes and relaxes my features. For one month my skin’s completely changed, most of my spots have been reduced to match skin’s natural, overall tone. Toner, my outline of the face has a better shap. Repeating the same gesture twice a day is like a firming draining massage to the skin.

The Vinexpert regiment is my best beauty surprise after the summer holidays. Cause I’m not the kind to trust anti-aging creams! And when I started testing the products, I didn’t expect more than a good moisturazing! For ending I do love the very discret scent of Caudalie’s products and the fact they don’t have parabens, phenoxyethanol, artificial colorings, mineral oils… No testing on animals. And they are non-comedogenic. “What else?”.

Park Hyatt Tokyo: Meeting with Philippe Roux-Dessarps

The lift stops at the 52nd  floor,

I’m heading for the New York Bar. Yes, the smart bar of Sofia Coppola’s « Lost of Translation » (pictures 1 & 2)!

Jazzy atmosphere, fascinating hypnotic view from the sky of an endlessly Tokyo, the feeling is unreal. In the penumbra enhanced with indirect lights, a smiling waitress leads me.

I have a meeting with Philippe Roux-Dessarps, the General Manager of the Park Haytt Tokyo that occupies the top 14 floors of the Shinjuku Park Tower (last picture), designed by the famous Kenzo Tange, father of modern Japanese architecture.

Everyday I ask my team : how did you surprise a client today?

We have varied customers (50% are leisure customers), lots of regular customers looking for a particular atmosphere and enjoying the intimacy of the hotel.

– Can you explain why we feel like in a cocoon in the Park Hyatt Tokyo?

– The staff humility. And we have few rooms : with 178 rooms, the hotel is intimate by Asian standards. And we don’t have a business atmosphere. The timeless design too : the Park Hyatt Tokyo has been an established hotel for 16 years. John Morford designed the interiors to feel like in a small elegant, personal, residence.

–  What is your next goal?

– Staying open to the next generations too. Staying modern without becoming gadget!

Here are the pictures of my favorite spaces.

At the 40th floor, I really enjoy the delicious Japanese cooking and the fantastic view of Fuji San, in Kozue restaurant (picture 3). I had a big crush on the superb earthenware plates and dishes created by craftsmen throughout Japan.

Peaceful atmosphere in the Library: a choice of 2000 books about arts, history, cultures and dictionaries (picture 4). Where the light is magic in late afternoon, when the sun falls down behind Fuji San (pictures above & below).

Great details: reproductions of Fellini’s draws

in the cozy corridors leading to the rooms, spa and swimming pool (picture above & below).

At the 47th floor, the 65 feet (20 meters) swimming pool

At least a hotel swimming pool where we can swim… looking down on Tokyo, with a sunrise or sunset light : exhilarating!

In the Spa I could stay hours and hours, between whirlpools, wet and dry saunas, cold plunge pools and 360 degree body showers… treatment rooms and relaxation rooms, with in the background the panoramic view (picture below).

Every single detail is tidily thought: from the excellent Australian products ASEOP, to the ladies razors in the showers, to stay perfect in the country of the perfection.

Park Hyatt Tokyo: A room with a view

A room with a view

As soon as I went in the room at the Park Hyat Tokyo, I was attracted to the infinite view of Tokyo. Shinjuku sprawling area and further. In weightless conditions from the 43th floor. I turn and discover a welcoming  large room.

Discret sober decoration, creating a cosy feeling, like in a cocoon. You fall in sleep and wake up happy! With a fantastic bedding AND a dream view, in a light space. Awsome!

The bathroom is my very favorite place,

with separete bath, shower and toilet. The great surprise: Aesop products for skin, hair and body! I’m really found of this Autralian cosmetics brand.

Every single detail was thought with care and taste: like the invisible dressing from the bed area and the Japanese sweets and chocolates with refined wrapping.
