Beijing, China: Midi Music Festival (Part 2)

I’m following Cheizak, the Hip Hop Stage Manager. From time to time, he’s checking if I didn’t loose him. Still on phone, he’s rushing to the stage and we’re making our way through the crowd to go to the backstage. Now here we are, with Chinese Rap stars: really funny, five minutes ago I didn’t known Cheizak! Braids, a big 100 % bling bling pendant of any African king with a huge afro, base-ball caps and gear… Old school, I’m looking for Dre (for the stoutness) and Snoop (for the hairstyle)! Yeah, or maybe they look like latinos west coast rappers too.

Finally boys and girls have all the same uniform than everywhere around the world in the international Hip Hop movement: thanks guys for the diversity! Except one thing: here, they are less show off and it’s really cool! Great vibe!  Guess what, I’ve totally forgotten the most important: music plays in the background, on the stage! While the night falls down, I’ve been introduced to many people. I remember: the really nice producer Jeffrey Kung.

The beautiful smiling singer, Tia Ray. She’s chatting with Mr. DJ with his many big silver rings, Chozie. Exodus to the Techno stage: crowd, a DJ, sunglasses, sweat and movement. I’m staying.

Any Punk Rock? Kilos of huge screens… « Arty » poses… And the last nice looking guy.

The festival maintenance, time to go to bed…

Angelina “Coco de Mer” in West Hollywood

Like « Wonderwoman », I spin, spin around and I change in? O vertigo: Lauren Bacall, perfect lock, sublim glance for a naughty and very glam shopping in West Hollywood. A black smart Gucci dress, very 40’s with a big low cut, I slowly walk in the Coco de Mer alley, the hypiest shop of Hollywood celebs. Even Angelica with a huge bright smile and many many huge bags, lets paparazzi taking her pictures living the chic fetish shop. The retro poster is explicit. A kind of fair, origami of naked women…

I wonder about the Emmanuelle chair. The original one? On wall : a gun like in The Big Sleep. While I play the script in my mind, Philip Marlowe etc, I look at the phallus trees and the glazed ceramic coco-fesse and the big chastity belt in the window. The set is settle down, erotic case. Sweeping movement, I shake my perfect brushed hair and give a last look at the very demanding James Joyce poetry and this perfect hand in the box holding secret letters.

Finally I get in the shop, leaving you back, darling… in cigarette smoke! Maybe I’ve already started a strip tease in the changing room. There is in all of us a Dita Von Teese diva!

Movie and books highly recommended : « The Big Sleep », director Howard Hawks, 1946, with Lauren Bacall et Humphrey Bogart… The Glamour!  « The Big Sleep », writer Raymond Chandler…  Ab Fab!
