Roger & Gallet: Huile Sublime Bois d’Orange, Perfumed Dry Oil

Dear nomadic friends : here a super light spray bottle (30 ml) to put in our bags and luggages! I am totally crazy about it : a greedy smell, SO sexy! This Perfumed dry oil silicone free is a fantastic beauty product : I don’t recommend very dry skin to use it as a treatment. But this dry oil is amazing as a “finish” (applyied after your usual moisturizing body creams) :  the skin is satin smooth and deliciously fragrant thanks to the orange essential oil and 6 natural oils. I am addicted! Irresistible after a sunbath, to sublimate tan and perfume hair! And for bad days, when I feel lazy (yes it happens, lol!) : its great texture and perfume make me feel better! Undoubtedly this is one of my “must have” of this summer!

Tom Ford: Grey Vetiver, Fragrance for Men

Wow! Tom Ford is back

in my fashion and beauty glossary! Over and done with the demonstrative ex Mr. Gucci at the head of the wave of the nineties porno chic! I don’t know why, but recently I wanted to discover one of his men’s fragrances.

Grey Vetiver is a concentrate of Tom Ford’s world! We can easily imagine that the man who wears a Tom Ford fragrance, has some notions of style and manners! A vintage Cary Grant out of a chase of a tasty Hitchcock…

Grey Vetiver as its creator, is structured, efficient, sleek and elegant. Both classic and modern: discreet while being present and singular. The mix of vetiver and citrus (grapefruit and orange flower) adds to the freshness. The bottle brings a stylish finish. An olfactory lesson of style for the gentlemen. Thanks Tom!

Presentation of The 150 Years of Roger & Gallet Collection @ Vanhaerent Art Collection, Brussels

What’s THE link between a former skin care brand and a Geant “Transformer”? 

Last picture. The presentation of the 150 years of Roger & Gallet collection which took place in the Vanhaerent Art Collection, a private art contemporary Museum. Nice surprising blend of genres! The Roger &Gallet ephemeral collection is based on the Rouleau de l’Empereur created by Jean Marie Farina for Napoleon 1st. This limited edition is declined in three fresh fragrant waters. The Jean Marie Farina Eau de Cologne is  inspired by the scent of a Mediterranean garden (pictures 1 & 2: the red bottle).

The Bois d’Orange Eau Fraîche Parfumée / Fresh Fragrant Water is reminiscent ofthe Alhambra’s gardens in Granada (picture 2: the orange bottle) and the Fleur d’Osmanthus Eau Fraîche Parfumée / Fresh Fragrant Water is inspired by a Chinese Garden of Eden (picture 2: the green bottle). I also discovered some other new products you will dicover soon in the BEAUTY section. Let’s taste the traditionnel birthday cake made by the Belgian famous Wittamer (picture above). Dicover in a coming post my visit in the private Museum…
