Van Cleef & Arpels: New collection of Haute Joaillerie

I am not the kind of blasée, but that’s true, I am not often nicely surprised by viral communication. And I’ve really enjoyed the last videos of Maison Van Cleef & Arpels, presenting the sources of inspiration of its Haute Joaillerie’s new collection. Nothing avant-gardist : only interesting cultural content, shown in a very formal way. Less is more. Those short videos about legendary bals offer lovely moments of history : like the story of Winter Palace bal (Saint-Petesbourg, February 11th 1903), told by Vincent Meylan, Historian of Jewellery. Click on the pictures to discover the videos.

Hyatt Regency Kyoto: A Zen Room

Hyatt Regency Kyoto- A Zen Room-1-Photo Mademoiselle Le K-copyright 2010

In the refine and intimate Hyatt Regency Kyoto,

you feel like in a boutique hotel, with high end service. I have a big crush on this elegant small nest in Kyoto.

Kimonos fabrics above the bed, natural white oak on walls and for furniture, windows with a view to the bamboo garden.

The room is not big, but you feel like in a zen cocoon

that you don’t easily leave! And where you get back with happiness.

The granite bathroom (behind the glass door, photo 5), including a shower with a wood stool and a large bath, is a great pleasure. Comfortable, different!!! Suki desu.

Park Hyatt Tokyo: A room with a view

A room with a view

As soon as I went in the room at the Park Hyat Tokyo, I was attracted to the infinite view of Tokyo. Shinjuku sprawling area and further. In weightless conditions from the 43th floor. I turn and discover a welcoming  large room.

Discret sober decoration, creating a cosy feeling, like in a cocoon. You fall in sleep and wake up happy! With a fantastic bedding AND a dream view, in a light space. Awsome!

The bathroom is my very favorite place,

with separete bath, shower and toilet. The great surprise: Aesop products for skin, hair and body! I’m really found of this Autralian cosmetics brand.

Every single detail was thought with care and taste: like the invisible dressing from the bed area and the Japanese sweets and chocolates with refined wrapping.
