Moscow with SMDB: Episode1, The Arrival

Boarding to Moscow, via Francfort… Da, a snapshot of me in a hurry: natural predisposition for missing flights! I’m on my way to meet the SMDB, to shoot pictures of their xpress tour in Moscow. Sounds exciting. Wow Moscow: the absolut exotism. I have in mind all those movies with spies and the Kremlin during the cold war, some James Bond with Sean Connery. And of course today Moscow, one of the trendiest cities: thanks Louis Vuitton guide! That I won’t have time to check during this trip dedicated to this urban phenomenon: some “fluo kids” (as Pedro Winter’ll explain me later at Castelbajac show) enjoy dancing the Milky Way on techno music.

Wandering in some small streets already covered between the shops of Anvers famous designers. Let’s have a break with fashion now and surf in narrow stress, with Virgin at buildings fronts corners. Northen light and southern slow motion. Beautiful weather. Chiseled roofs and tulips sloping by the North wind remind the nearby Holland. Slowly walking to the river banks till the port. Ballad song. Pictures 1, 9 & 10: the new tube, so easy to use, with sits first for bonzes, children, pregnant women and eldery persons ! Pictures 2 & 3: old school phone box, a huge moment of solitude (how can I use it without a fluent Thai? What about the area codes?)! Picture 4 & 5: fronts like the Hong Kong mansions of the Wong Kar Wai’s first movies. Pictures 6 & 7: funny architecture with a view to… a bit of Osaka, with the three levels tube, kind of Blade Runner’s movie. Picture 8: « Sexy Folie » stars of teenagers, the cover boyz white complexion and enticing poses.
