A bit heady without being voluble

Right now I have cravings for fresh, green gardens, light air smells of citrus (referring to my very recent yuzu period, grapefruit from Japan) and white flowers. Light, sunlight filtered through canisses. A happy wake a bit heady without being voluble. Elegant as the eau de parfum Mon Jasmin Noir L’Eau Exquise : a discovery, my first Bulgari perfume.

I really like the curves of bottle, pleasant to touch and look at. The lightly green color of L’Eau Exquise reminds me freshly cut grass. From the first pschit, I had a crush on with acid accents (pink grapefruit) and its top notes of jasmine and white tea, enhanced with the white musk. Instantly I was sent in the imaginary garden I described above. Addictive water, extremely refined and sensual that makes me a good mood. Carefree, charming and exquisite.

A Selection of Heady Fragrances

I really wanted to discover new fragrances and worlds

of high end and luxury niche brands. Here are some fascinating heady perfumes: 

1. Epic: I really like it. Heady peppery, oriental. Spicies: cumin, pink bay, cinnamon. The Silk Road, sensual travel. Captivanting. Vertigo. Amouage.   

2. The Spies of the Star: sweet. And gourmand : Italian lemon, Israeli grapefruit, lemon sorbet, apple-melon, caramel-meringue, amber-vanilla-musc… Light Intrigant Scent. Addicting. Romea d’Améor. 

3. The Great Inca Priestesses: dark chocolate (yummy!). Dense smart perfume. Romea d’Améor. 

4. Chambre Noire: Sexual. Strong presence of leather (and tobacco?), smell of an English old club (amchair). Mysterious…. Olfactive Studio. 

5. Calamity J: Musc. Masculine fragrance. Softened by patchouli and iris. Juliette Has a Gun. 

6. Aziyandé: I hesited to add this perfume, cause it is really special, not common at all. Sweet and spicy, dense and heady. And could a bit sickly too. Parfums d’Empire.

Van Cleef & Arpels: Feerie, The Perfume

How not being captivated?

Really pleasing to the eye and touch! Even before smelling the scent, the object attracts, irresistible attraction. Pensive refined fairy on a graceful long branch, there is also this night dark blue, as a perfume invitation, this magical unknown distant elsewhere. I feel like a pirate of fairy tales. I finally open: fruity and full of flowers notes, the smell is captivating.

At the opposite of the mature and classical perfumes of other famous jewellers. This lightly sweet perfume of Van Cleef & Arpels (with blackcurrant and mandarine orange from Italy) is full of imaginativeness. Getting lost in trail of the small fairy, between violet, iris, jasmine, vetiver and mostly the Bulgarian rose. I love the rose always brings this quaint nostalgic charm.

But what I really do enjoy: the different nuances intensify during the day. In the moorning, the perfume smells fresh and full of flowers like in an enchanting undergrowth. And at night, it’s more heady and sweet and bewitching, keeping lightness, I associate with a bit of humour. I haven’t left it yet.
