My Selection of Hermès Petit h Accessories

Last Friday I was invited to a breakfast at Hermes to discover the latest collection of the Petit h unusual objects, presented in a fairytale scenography. As a traveler and a fashion accessories addict, I selected few light pieces, beautifully executed: the necklaces in silk scarves, the cuffs (I have a big crush for the leather one,  picture 4), the boho chic bag made with silk scarves woven and a crocodile handle and the skate (really great!).

Breakfast At Hermès To Discover The Petit h Unusual Objects

You know how I’m addicted to Christmas trees and how much I love the creative world of Hermès :  above is a photo taken yesterday, at a press Hermès breakfast, I was invited in Brussels (picture 2). Well I am not a morning person, especially as the day before, I had a “smartphone” dinner with Acer (I’ll talk about soon). Boosted by the snow, I arrived (late, but not that much!) to La Verrière, where Beatrice Gouyet, CEO of Hermes Benelux-Nordics (picture 3) and Pascale Mussard, Creative Director of Petit h (picture 4), reveal us  the recycling concept of these famous “unusual objects”. Scattered here and there in an enchanting decoration realized by  Charles Kaisin (picture 3), which explained that all these branches came from a huge beech of his garden. Last picture: Nica Broucke, the editor of ELLE België shows me the luxury nest which she really enjoyed. And if you want to discover the Petit h unusual objects on I really enjoyed: check this post! Suspense …

Visiting The Showroom of The Designer Christian Wijnants in Antwerp

If you followed my previous posts about my rush on high heels through Antwerp (Belgium) during the press days, here is my final stop at the fashion designer’s showroom and workshop, Christian Wijnants (picture 3). Last but not least! It is 8 p.m. something when I finally arrive at the showroom, during the walk my feet were so painful, I had to swap my sexy shoes for a pair of Converse! I really enjoy dicovering designer workshops. On the picture above: the mood board of the Spring-Summer 2013 collection, inspired by Aung Sun Suu Kyi and an imaginary journey in Asia and also a movie with Tom Hanks about the end of childhood and the beginning of the teenage years, projected on a wall of the showroom … Oops sorry I lost the title! Some prints of the collection were carried out in collaboration with a photographer. The materials are light and really soft: I really like several items like tank tops, “sarong” skirts and baggy pants! I will post soon a look book of Christian’s Spring-Summer 2013 collection (picture 2). L’invitation au voyage …

Thank you Christian Wijnants.
